Carrie megan botanical art

Carrie Megan is a 2010 candidate for the Certificate in Botanical Art and Illustration from the Wellesley College Friends of Horticulture. She has worked as a graphic designer and illustrator for 25 years, but only recently discovered her passion for creating botanical art.
Her work has been in international juried exhibitions at The Phoenix Art Museum with The American Society of Botanical Artists, and in New York at The New York Horticultural Society.
Her work has also been exhibited with The New England
Society of Botanical Artists at The Pembroke Public Library,
The South Shore Natural Science Center, Wellesley College Botanic Gardens Visitor Center, The Arnold Arboretum of Harvard, The New England Flower Shows, 2006 - 2008 and
The Boston Flower Show of 2010.
Carrie Megan’s first solo exhibit was at The Wellesley Free
Library in Wellesley, MA in 2008, followed by a solo exhibition,
“Botanical Explorations,” at the Newton Free Library in
Newton, MA, Jan.5 - 28, 2010.
Carrie Megan is a member of the American Society of Botanical Artists and the New England Society of Botanical Artists and was featured as the profiled artist in the Summer 2008 issue of Wellesley Weston magazine.
